Can I import my existing expense data?
Yes. EvenUp supports CSV import for both group expenses and 1-on-1 friend expenses. Go to Groups → New Group → Import from CSV, upload your file, map your members, and all expenses import instantly.
Does EvenUp work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. EvenUp is a Progressive Web App (PWA). Open even-up.com in Safari on iOS or Chrome on Android, then tap 'Add to Home Screen' to install it like a native app — no App Store required.
How does expense splitting work?
EvenUp supports four split types: equal (everyone pays the same share), exact (custom dollar amounts per person), percentage, and shares. You can also enable Simplify Debts to reduce the total number of payments needed in a group.
Is my financial data safe?
Yes. EvenUp uses Supabase with row-level security (RLS), CSRF protection, rate limiting, and encrypted connections. No payment processing happens inside EvenUp — it only tracks who owes whom.
